1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Multi Language Keyboard 2026 application ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. Multi Language Keyboard 2026 is an on-screen keyboard (input method) for Android that lets you type in many languages, customize the keyboard's appearance, and use tools such as clipboard history, gesture typing, and word suggestions.

Because a keyboard can technically observe the text you type, we want to be clear and specific about what the app does and does not do with that information. Please read this policy before using the app. By installing and using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

The app does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or submit personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number. There is no registration, login, or profile.

Information you configure inside the app — such as your selected theme, keyboard height, enabled languages, and feature toggles — is stored only on your device using Android's local preferences. We do not receive a copy of these settings.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

The app itself does not collect analytics, usage statistics, device identifiers, or diagnostic data, and it contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

However, the app displays advertisements through the Meta Audience Network (Facebook Audience Network) SDK. To serve ads, this third-party SDK may collect and process information such as:

A mobile advertising identifier
Device and technical information (for example device model, operating-system version, network type, language/region, screen characteristics)
IP address (which may be used to infer approximate, coarse location)
Ad interaction and diagnostic information

This information is collected and processed by Meta, not by us, in accordance with Meta's own policies. See Section 6 (Third-Party Services).

In addition, when the app connects to the internet to download language packages (see Section 2.4), the hosting provider (GitHub) automatically receives standard technical request data, including your IP address, as happens with any download over the internet.

2.3 Keyboard / Input Data (Important)

This is the most important section for a keyboard app.

The text you type is processed locally on your device. The app reads the text field you are typing in to draw the keys, apply auto-capitalization and smart punctuation, and offer word suggestions and gesture-typing candidates.
The app does not send the text you type to us or to any server. The keyboard/input engine does not make network requests. There is no keylogging, no remote sync of keystrokes, and no transmission of typed content.
Word suggestions and predictions run on-device using dictionaries stored on your device — a built-in English dictionary and any per-language dictionaries included in the language packs you install. These dictionaries are read locally.
Clipboard history is stored locally. When you open the in-keyboard clipboard panel, the app reads your system clipboard and saves recent clips (up to 30) and any clips you pin. This history is stored only on your device using local preferences and is never transmitted. You can delete individual clips, clear the recent list, or reset all app settings at any time.
Passwords and sensitive fields: the app does not store, log, or transmit typed text. As with any keyboard, we recommend relying on your device's secure input handling for password fields.
No voice/speech input: the app has no voice typing and does not request microphone access, so no audio is captured or transmitted.

2.4 Language Downloads

The app ships with a built-in English keyboard. Additional languages are downloaded only when you choose to install them. When you install a language:

The app fetches a language catalog and the selected language package over HTTPS from a public repository hosted on GitHub.
The download contains layout and dictionary data. The app does not send your typed text, contacts, or personal data as part of these requests.
Downloaded packages are verified (SHA-256 checksum) and then stored in the app's private storage on your device, where they continue to work offline.

2.5 Permissions

The app declares the following Android permissions:

The app does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, SMS, call logs, or files beyond what is described above.

3. How Information Is Used

To provide keyboard functionality — rendering keys, switching languages, offering suggestions, gesture typing, clipboard history, and customization. This happens on your device.
To download and update languages you choose to install.
To display advertisements that help support the app, through the Meta Audience Network SDK.

We do not use your information to build advertising or marketing profiles ourselves, and we do not sell your information.

4. Advertising

The app is supported by advertising and integrates the Meta Audience Network SDK to show banner, interstitial (full-screen), and native ads.

Advertising providers may use a mobile advertising identifier and other device/technical information to serve and measure ads, and may show personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your device and regional settings.
Ad-related data is processed by Meta under Meta's own policies; we do not control that processing.
You can limit ad personalization and reset or delete your advertising ID from your Android device settings, typically under Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by device and Android version).

5. Analytics

The app does not include a third-party analytics SDK and does not collect app usage analytics itself. Note that the advertising SDK described in Section 4 may process diagnostic and interaction data for its own ad-delivery purposes.

The app does not integrate Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Analytics, or any crash-reporting service.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share the text you type with anyone. The only data sharing that occurs is with the third-party services listed in Section 6, and only for the purposes stated there (serving ads and hosting language downloads).

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information:

The text you type is processed on-device and is not transmitted by the app.
Your settings, clipboard history, and language packs are stored in the app's private storage on your device.
Language downloads use HTTPS and are integrity-checked (SHA-256) before install.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

On-device data (settings, clipboard history, installed language packs) is retained on your device until you delete it, reset the app's settings, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
Advertising data processed by the Meta Audience Network is retained by Meta according to Meta's own retention policies, which we do not control.

We do not maintain our own servers that store your personal information.

10. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app displays third-party advertising, it is not designed as a child-directed app. If you believe a child has provided information through the advertising services, please refer to the relevant provider's policy in Section 6, and you may contact us using the details in Section 12.

(This statement describes our intent and does not by itself assert certification under any specific children's-privacy law such as COPPA or GDPR-K.)

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your information. You can exercise practical control through the following options:

Advertising: reset or delete your advertising ID and limit ad personalization in your Android device settings.
Permissions: manage the app's permissions in Android Settings → Apps.
Clipboard & settings: clear clipboard history or reset all settings from within the app.
Local data deletion: clear the app's data or uninstall the app to remove all on-device data.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised policy at the same URL. Significant changes may also be communicated through the app or the store listing. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Security & practices to declare

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) for downloads: Yes.
Users can request data deletion: on-device data is removed by clearing app data or uninstalling; advertising data is governed by Meta.
Does the app have a way to request account deletion? No accounts exist.

Points requiring developer confirmation before submitting

Confirm the only ad SDK in the shipped build is Meta Audience Network, and that AdManager.TEST_MODE is set to false with real placement IDs.
Confirm no analytics/crash SDK was added after this review.
Confirm whether READ_/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE are actually required; if not, remove them to simplify the Data Safety and permissions declarations.
Re-review Meta Audience Network's current data-processing disclosures, since the SDK's collected-data categories can change between versions.
Ensure the Data Safety form's "Data shared with third parties" section reflects the Meta Audience Network integration.
